Trip to AMD!

On Wednesday, March 6, we visited the AMD Corporate Headquarters in Austin to learn how our robotics skills could be used in the professional world. We spoke to hardware, software, and marketing leads within the company and toured the lab where workers develop and test new server blocks and computer boards. We were able to see the products AMD had developed over the years and all of the work that went into creating them! Most importantly, some of the company's leading engineers described the importance of a well-developed design plan and incremental testing in the engineering design process to us. Thanks to AMD for the warm welcome and to the Bode family for setting up the trip! It was an awesome experience, and very encouraging and inspiring to our team.
