TEAM 11093 HILL COUNTRY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL OF AUSTIN

​

The MegaKnytes have been privileged to compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge Program for each of the past five years. Since our first season in 2016, we have grown our technical and team skills significantly. Last season we advanced to two State Championships - sponsored by TAPPS and FIRST- and won both of them! We also received top honors winning the Spirit of TAPPS Award and the Design Award, respectively.   We also set an in-person, world record score at the FIRST State Championship. We are hoping that we will continue to improve during our next season;  our goals include winning the Inspire Award, the highest individual award, and advancing to the FIRST World Championships.

Our involvement with FIRST has also made a lasting impact on those in our community and school. We help host an annual STEM Festival as well as a fifth grade robotics club. Several of our alumni have continued on to major in Computer Science or Engineering.

We need your help to reach our goals. Here are some of our biggest needs: 

​

  • A Development Laptop

  • Robot materials such as batteries, motors, structural pieces and so on

  • Industry Mentors and Company Tours

  • Volunteer Opportunities (STEM not required) 

  • 3D printing supplies and tools 

  • Registration fees for the competitions

  • Travel expenses to State and World competitions

  • Printing costs for marketing materials

  • Team uniforms

$1000+ Commander: Your logo will appear on our website and social media with a link, in our marketing pit, and on our team cart. In addition, your logo will be placed on our robot and we will mention you in our presentation and in our school newsletter.

$250-499 Knight: Your logo will appear on our website with a link, on our team cart and we will tag you on our social media.
